Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder that attacks the central nervous system. The disease affects millions of people and affects them in different ways. MS progresses slowly and can be mild to debilitating with symptoms such as blurred vision, poor coordination, slurred speech, loss of memory and more.
Multiple Sclerosis National Research Institute (MSNRI) conducts research to understand the cause of MS (and other autoimmune disorders) and to develop new treatments for the disease. MSNRI collaborates with scientific labs in the United States and around the world to identify possible treatments and cures for MS and other autoimmune disorders.
