Nothing brightens the holidays like a child’s smile. But for so many families, those smiles are hard to come by. Having a child who is dealing with a life threatening illness is never easy, but it’s especially difficult during the holidays.
The Concern Foundation has been raising money to support cancer research for over 48 years. To date, $58 million dollars has been raised and granted by Concern to find cures for this devastating disease.
But in addition to that, each year a group of Concern’s volunteers throw a holiday party for kids with cancer and their families without using one dime raised for research. Everything is donated. This year the Hawaiian themed party featured the Disney movie Moana, snow – in Los Angeles! – candy, face painting and bounce houses. And, photos with Hawaiian Santa.
Every family left with a bag of presents, not just for the kids with cancer, but for the parents and siblings, too.
Medical Research Charities is proud to work with The Concern Foundation and 24 other exceptional charities, who put your donations to work to find treatments and cures.
Please help us this holiday season with a donation of any size to wipe out diseases like cancer.
